The Schleich Elk 14992 stands tall on slender legs with a broad set of antlers above its head. The reddish brown coat and quiet pose suit a woodland clearing or nature display. It is one of those figures that changes the shape of a collection as soon as it joins the shelf.
An impressive antlered animal
The antlers are the first detail most children will notice, but the long legs and strong body matter too. Together they give the elk its distinctive outline. The pose is calm rather than dramatic, which makes the figure easy to use in peaceful habitat scenes as well as more active stories.
Set it near a pretend river, hide it among block trees or let it lead a herd through the forest. It also works as a useful talking point for children comparing hoofed animals and the habitats where they live.
Who else lives in the woods?
The Schleich Wolf is the closest companion for a forest scene. Add the Schleich Meerkat or Schleich Lion when the collection grows into other habitats. Figures are sold separately.
