Schleich Lion

The Schleich African Lion 14974 has the broad build, full mane and steady gaze you would expect from the head of a pride. Standing high and looking into the distance, he brings a strong focal point to safari stories and Schleich Wild Life displays.

Meet the lion on lookout

This lion is not caught mid-roar or mid-pounce. Instead, he looks calm and watchful, as if he has climbed onto a rock to survey the grassland below. That stance works for all sorts of stories, from guarding a pride to resting after a long walk across the savannah.

The mane frames his face and runs across the shoulders, while the muscular shape gives the figure a solid presence. Younger animal fans can use him in simple safari games. Older collectors may appreciate the recognisable silhouette in a wildlife display.

Build a wider Wild Life scene

The tiny Schleich Meerkat makes an interesting neighbour and shows the difference in scale between the animals. The Schleich Elk and Schleich Wolf can take the collection into forest habitats. Each figure is sold separately.
