Schleich Mammoth

The Schleich Mammoth 15053 is a large prehistoric figure with long curved tusks, a broad head and a heavily textured coat. Although mammoths were mammals rather than dinosaurs, Schleich places this figure in its Dinosaurs theme. It is an easy way to bring the Ice Age into a prehistoric collection.

Bring an Ice Age giant into play

This mammoth has a real sense of weight. Thick legs support the body, the trunk hangs forward and the tusks curve out from either side of the head. Ridges across the coat suggest the dense fur that helped mammoths live in cold environments.

At roughly 15.2 cm long, it can act as the large animal in a prehistoric scene. Children might guide it across a frozen plain, search for food beneath the snow or imagine what happens when it meets another Ice Age animal.

Build an Ice Age collection

The Schleich Smilodon is the natural partner for this figure. One is a heavy plant eater with sweeping tusks; the other is a low, quick prehistoric cat. They are sold separately.
